Impressive Bicycle Safety Dynamo Powered LED Light On The Wheels
Project Aura by industrial design students Ethan Frier and Jonathan Ota is a bicycle safety lighting system. The system is made up of rim-mounted LEDs that change colours based on how fast one rides thus being self-powered (by a front hub dynamo).
Just WOW I so want to have this. Amazing job on the project by the designers Ethan and Jonathan can be closely followed on their blog.

A GAME OF LIGHT AND FALLING STARZ. Terje Sorgjerd spent a week capturing one of the biggest aurora borealis shows in recent years. At Kirkenes and Pas National Park bordering Russia, at 70 degree north and 30 degrees east. Temperatures approx. -25°C.

Replacing a cash register with a touch computer? Yes, why not? There is a video on BBC about tablet computers @ work: how staff push tablets into the workplace with ERPLY. It was the main story on BBC “Special Report: The Technology of Business” on Monday, March 21st 2011.
The main news this month is that ERPLY now supports offline point of sale work as well. It syncs via the internet when there is a connection to the web. Also their new office opened on 5th Avenue in New York City.
